 LAKELAND HIGH SCHOOL in partnership with LAKELAND PLAYERS Announces the 2012 High School Spring Musical Presented by the Lakeland High School Students - March 16, 17, 18, 2012.
Watch for more information in the coming months. This musical will feature a new director, Karen Miller. She has worked in the Huron Valley District for over a year now, and she was hired this year as a full time English teacher at Lakeland High School. After attending U of M and EMU, she graduated with a double major in English and Communication & Theatre Arts with a focus in Secondary Education. Her previous directing experience includes such shows as, "Six Characters in Search of an Author", "Picasso and the Lapin Agile", "West Side Story", and most recently she was the Tech Director for Novi High School's MIFA competition play, "The Beaux' Stratagem." She is excited for "Footloose" this spring and the opportunity to work with the theatre professionals at Lakeland Players. Other players on the Production Team are: Producers: Cyndi Dailey and Julie O'Brien, Musical Director - Matthew Croft, Stage Manager - Trevor Martin and Sound Engineer - Kevin Stephison. We are all looking forward to another successful production with the Lakeland students.

Lakeland High School Productions are done in partnership with Lakeland Players Community Theatre.

 A note from the Producer's Chair of E-R.
It's been a blast working with the two casts, the laughter and jokes have been flying! The Adult and Youth casts are hard at work to put on quality shows. We've got a bunch of -- newbies!! to Lakeland Players, in both casts (and what great additions to our talent pool they are) as well as many veterans of LP's. We're hoping all our members will have the opportunity to come see this production (BOTH Youth and Adult versions). This fast paced comedy will leave you in stitches!
We are still in need of some additional assistance from our Players! We'll be moving the extension for the stage the week of January 8th, any help would be appreciated. Also, if you have a connection to a medical facility or have any extra equipment that might be of use, please contact Lisa Mohler (248) 722-0174. I'm also looking for additional backstage helpers. Thanks!
